Main duties of the job Responsibilities The Facilities Supervisor provides a key role and we are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are confident to work on their own initiative undertaking delegated tasks from the Operational Services Manager. Amongst other things you will be responsible for: planning team members work schedules and resource requirements; co-ordinating the work of the team to ensure team goals are reached; quality audits; assisting in the recruitment of staff as well as performance management which includes induction and training, PADRs, initial stages employee relations policies eg., disciplinary, sickness, grievance etc. The post holder will have completed or be working towards an NVQ level 3 qualification and should possess: excellent customer services skills strong organisational skills an understanding of Health & Safety guidelines and risk assessments. Qualifications & Knowledge Essential criteria Supervisory or management qualification equivalent to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent knowledge and experience Willingness to undertake any qualification deemed appropriate to the post i.e. Chartered Institute of Environmental Health’s Intermediate Food safety and allergen awareness Desirable criteria Possess the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health’s Intermediate NVQ level 2 in cleaning services, customer care Experience Essential criteria Show evidence of continuing professional development Awareness of all aspects of current food hygiene legislation and practices, pest control procedures, security, health and safety and fire procedures.
