The Bexley Professional Standards and Quality Assurance Team are seeking an experienced Project Officer to help deliver some exciting project plans over the next six months. About The Role We are privileged to have been approved as a Sector Led Improvement Partner which involves supporting other Local Authorities to develop areas of practice and to learn from our improvement journey. In turn we learn from them and take any learning into our own development plans and service delivery. This is a fixed term position for 6 months. Under the supervision of the Head of Professional Standards the post holder will manage all project processes for the projects allocated to them, including the formulation of project briefs in consultation with the Sector Led Improvement lead. Candidate Profile We are looking for a self-driven individual who is efficient, well organised and accustomed to working in a pressured environment. We require someone who has good communication skills and confident in report witing and keeping project records. You will be accustomed to working alongside people from a range of backgrounds, at all levels and embrace diversity. We welcome a creative and innovative approach to problem solving. You will have experience of team working but also able to work autonomously.
