Our client is looking to recruit a Desktop Support Engineer on a 5-month contract. This is a contract role that is Inside IR35. As a Desktop Support Engineer, the successful candidate will provide expert support managing and maintaining IT services and equipment within your assigned site and surrounding sites.
Role
* Queue Ticket Management: Efficiently manage and update tickets assigned to your queue, ensuring service levels are maintained as per the contract.
* Hub Stock Management: Oversee asset management, including scanning items in and out of locations, in accordance with contractual obligations.
* Disposal Management: Effectively manage the disposal of equipment through your Hub, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
* Hardware Repairs: Triage and perform hardware repairs on in-warranty equipment, liaising with vendors for parts and returns as needed.
* Locker Replenishments: Replenish lockers with necessary equipment as per contractual agreements.
* Service Improvement: Identify and highlight potential service issues or improvements to your Team Leader.
What you'll need
* Security Clearance: Must have or be able to obtain SC clearance.
* Nationality: Must be a UK National (or dual national) with a UK passport.
* Driving License: A valid driving license is required.
