Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic and empathic person to join our Community Roots based at the Chai Centre Burnley. You will be customer focused with a passion for engaging with the community and helping people access a wide range of health and wellbeing opportunities.
You will provide front-line reception duties, welcoming all to Community Roots, whilst maintaining and updating clerical records that support the operational delivery of the service.
Applications are encouraged from individuals with demonstrable experience in working with communities and mental health care services.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide reception and administration cover for the Trust’s innovative community health and wellbeing Community Roots at the Chai Centre, Burnley.
You will be expected to welcome visitors, learners, partners, and community members face to face and by telephone.
The post holder will also be expected to undertake general clerical duties including organizing and coordinating the day-to-day function of the centre and supporting external partners who will be using the site.
The post holder will be expected to demonstrate initiative in developing and supporting administration throughout the Recovery & Resilience team, acting in a professional manner at all times.

Qualifications
* Administrative qualification at NVQ Level 2/RSA 2 OCR Level 1 or 2 or equivalent experience
Knowledge
* Working with databases
* Working with Microsoft Office applications
* Knowledge of co-production and person-centred framework.
Experience
* Working in an office environment

* Experience of working in health, social care or community setting.
