About the Role
Holder of full UK driver’s license + personal car.
UK applicants only – visa sponsorship available to suitable candidates.
We cover Kent areas such as: Canterbury, Faversham, Sittingbourne, Sheerness, Maidstone, Thanet, Medway towns and are always looking to expand our service to other areas as necessary.
Previous care experience is beneficial, but full training and support will be given.
Requirements of a Senior Carer

* The ability to work on your own initiative
* Good listening and communication skills
* The ability to understand and follow policies and procedures
* Good writing skills to complete care records
* Good team player
* Flexible
* Able to work in agreed ways
* Have access to a personal car and UK driving experience
Responsibilities of a Senior Carer
* Helping service users meet personal care tasks
* Help with food and drink
* Help with medication
* Help with toileting needs
* Help with transfers using service user equipment
* Help to maintain home environment
* Escorting to outings
* Refer to other professionals
* You must be able to follow care and support plans
* Offer care and support to various service user groups, for example: adults, elderly, mental health, learning disability & autism, physical problems, medical problems, etc.
* Visit service users at home morning, lunch, tea, and bed
* Start visits at 7am or according to the scheduled visit times
* Ongoing training and support
* 28 days statutory holiday
