Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to end-users, ensuring that all desktop systems and applications operate smoothly. This role requires a strong understanding of computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and operating systems, as well as the ability to analyse and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
* Provide first-line help desk support for users experiencing technical issues with hardware and software.
* Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
* Provide customer-focused Desktop Support services across multiple site locations
* Provide IT support for meeting rooms
* Assist in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of computer hardware and peripherals.
* Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance overall system performance and user satisfaction.
Experience
* Windows 10, PC hardware, software and networking.
* G-Suite and MS Office 365 applications for Corporate use
* Mac OS and Apple hardware and applications.
* AV meeting room systems and printers
* Configuring and supporting IOS and Android devices.
* Patching Windows/Mac OS using VMware/SCCM/JAMF
* Experience of working in ITIL environments
