Support Worker Learning Disabilities – Registered Care Service
Full Time, Part Time, Permanent
Average Salary: £12.65 per hour (Mon - Fri) to £15.82 per hour (Sat & Sun)
The salary may further go up to incorporate shift enhancements for weekends, sleep-in shifts and waking nights as part of a typical rota.
Essential Criteria
1. An understanding / knowledge and skills relating to people with disabilities
2. Care or Support Work Experience
3. Must be willing to provide personal care to female residents
4. Must be able to do sleep-in shifts

The Role
1. Provide safe, person-centred support
2. Supporting clients with college, work, dancing, swimming, going to the cinema/theatre, going out for meals and lots of different leisure activities
3. Promote independent living skills such as personal care, medication, shopping, cooking, keeping their house clean, support to budget and not get into debt
4. Help make a client’s hopes and wishes a reality
5. Supporting clients in the community
