As a Maintenance Planner, you will oversee maintenance operations, lead and manage the global planning for an extensive fleet of over 30 cruise ships, under the Marine Agreements team in Marine Field Services Region Americas team in accordance with the strategy, action plan and business needs. This position reports to the General Manager of Field Service Resources for Marine Agreements team in Marine Field Services Region Americas. Candidates are expected to display a high level of critical thinking and reasoning skills, identify as high performers, as well as being self-motivating. Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive KPI reporting and in-depth data analysis to provide valuable insights to internal stakeholders, external partners, and top-level management. Foster strong customer relationships to facilitate precise global planning initiatives and ensure seamless visibility across all internal stakeholder groups. Update annual and detailed maintenance plans for the assigned agreements and prepare inputs for annual financial maintenance planning. Manage assigned maintenance responsibilities according to Wärtsilä Marine and Performance Services guidelines and processes, General Management practices, all this in a safe and cost-effective manner to exceed customers' expectations. Ensure all planned maintenance schedules are up to date. Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders within the area of responsibility, conducting regular reviews and follow-ups. Ensure maintenance plans are executable with the customer and balanced among internal stakeholders (workshops, resources, logistics, and parts delivery). Communicate effectively with the teams regarding vessel equipment condition, performance, and suggestions for improvements. Manage, maintain, and continually update database systems. Create new data records and monitor, update incomplete entries. Collaborate and work with department team leaders to streamline processes. Assist department teams in strategic business development. Create reports and business studies for internal stakeholders, external partners, and higher management. To comply with the company's Quality, Health & Safety and Equal Opportunities policies. Main Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or technical university or 5–10 years of equivalent work experience in a technical service-minded organization is desired. Experience within a Mechanical/Maritime environment organization with an international scope is seen as an advantage. English language proficiency (Spanish and/or Portuguese considered as plus). Project Management skills. Cost awareness and effectiveness. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Contract Planning experience and Maintenance Management knowledge. Recognized licensed certifications or track record in Power BI, Microsoft Excel Data Analysis, and Power Query. Experience in data analysis and statistical techniques.
