Company: The HR Fixers
Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)
About Us:
At The HR Fixers, we’re passionate about making HR work better. We help organisations transform the way HR and a modern workforce operates, through pragmatic, people-centred transformation. We specialise in helping organisations navigate, build and elevate the full potential of their HR data, processes and technology — through effective change, communication, and adoption strategies that stick.
We are on a journey of growth and due to recent client acquisitions, we are looking to fulfil this role. We have team members across the North West and London.
Role overview:
We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Change and Process Lead to join our growing team.
You’ll play a key role in helping clients to navigate HR transformations, ensuring their people are supported, engaged, and ready for change. You’ll bring together your understanding of people’s perception of change, process optimisation, and stakeholder engagement to drive sustainable transformation outcomes.
What you’ll do:
Build strong client relationships, acting as an extension of their HR team, and as a trusted advisor on change and process matters.
* Lead the change management workstream for HR transformation programmes (with a focus on process change, ways of working, data insights and technology changes).
* Collaborate with clients and their stakeholders across HR, IT, and business units to assess impact and drive adoption. Ensuring alignment and buy-in.
* Support HR and business teams in capturing current processes, to redesign and document processes aligned to the new ways of working.
* Design and deliver change impact assessments, readiness assessments, and build change plans tailored to client culture and needs.
* Design and facilitate engaging workshops and feedback loops to support the end-to-end change journey.
* Create and implement communication plans that support awareness, adoption, and engagement across all levels of the organisation to ensure the new ways of working stick. This may include nurturing a change champion network.
* Design and monitor change measures of success and progress, capturing the value from the change, and provide recommendations to ensure risks are mitigated.
Skills and experience:
We are looking for an experienced individual, who has done this role before and can bring knowledge and know-how to our wider team. As this is a people-focused role, we are keen for a candidate to have curiosity as a skill, and demonstrate emotional intelligence. Someone who takes an interest in why people respond to change in the way that they do, and how best to support them through their change journey.
* As a remote team member, you’ll need to be a self-starter who takes the initiative. Comfortable working remotely, as part of a virtual team and managing multiple priorities.
* Proven experience delivering change management approaches within transformations, including people, process, data and technology implementations.
* Experience of this within HR is preferable, but not essential and this can be learned.
* Experience working with or alongside HRIS platforms (e.g. SAP Success Factors or Workday) is a bonus.
* A pragmatic and people-centred approach to change, able to work flexibly and adapt to the pace of change as led by the client.
* Experience of creating thorough and detailed personas and impact assessments.
* Application to design and lead process mapping.
* Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong communication skills – both personally and in creating materials for engagement and cascade, following brand guidelines and tone of voice.
* Continuous improvement driver, to constantly advance the way we work, our change approaches, the tools we use and how to add greater value to clients.
* Experience in consulting, contracting, or working across multiple clients is a bonus.
* Change management certifications (e.g., Prosci, APMG) are advantageous but not essential. Strong understanding of change methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter, Prosci) and practical application is preferable.
Why work with us?

* We are curious – we are curious about root cause and creative when resolving problems.
* We are conscientious – we do things in the right way, with the best people.
* We adapt and thrive – we create an environment for you to be the best version of yourself.
Remuneration package:
As a small, bespoke consultancy we have thought carefully about what we can offer our team. We work together to define and constantly evolve our employee proposition.
* A competitive salary
* 25 days annual holiday + bank holidays
* 4 FlexFinish days – got life admin or a plane to catch, finish early on us.
* NEST pension scheme
* Group Life & Income protection insurance
* Remote working
* Quarterly team events and socials (these are super fun!)
* Up to a 10% annual bonus
* Plus other flexible benefits
