The successful applicant will have the opportunity to build on their experiences of working with children and families. assessment experience within an established and welcoming area assessment team. About the role Effective screening and support, to ensure that families receive the 'Right Response' from the appropriate agency at the highest levels of need without unnecessary delay. Strengthening screening and referral processes of Specialist Social Care Team and ensure a more timely and proportionate response to ensure that all contacts get feedback and are supported in, appropriately addressing the needs of children and young people. To identify needs, with management direction and support, to assess threshold of risk and understanding of the different tiers of service provision. To make full use of a range of computerised systems, gather and accurately record information and attend regular meetings with the team and professionals. To support Social Workers with tasks and support with emergency duty tasks. About You Essential: Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle Although there are no specific qualifications required for this role, previous experience in working with children and families is required. Ability to work autonomously whilst being a team player. Desirable: A good understanding of developmental trauma. Excellent organisational skills to ensure that work is prioritised and completed within the set timescales. This job role is within the Health and Social Care Services, level HSC8 job profile.
