An FPGA Design Engineer with 2+ years of commercial design experience, including strong SystemVerilog skills, will contribute to the development of a range of imaging equipment. You'll bring a strong academic history as well as a good understanding of the interaction between the FPGA, software, and hardware design. Hybrid working is available.
The FPGA Engineer role will involve designing and developing digital circuits on Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) for various imaging applications. This will require a solid understanding of digital logic, computer architecture, and programming languages such as SystemVerilog.
We are looking for an experienced FPGA Designer who can work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to design, develop, and test FPGA-based systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics engineering, digital circuit design, and verification methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop digital circuits on FPGAs for various imaging applications
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA designs into larger systems
* Verify and validate FPGA designs using simulation and laboratory testing
* Develop and maintain technical documentation for FPGA designs and related tools
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our FPGA design process
Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience in FPGA design and development
* Strong understanding of digital logic, computer architecture, and SystemVerilog programming language
* Experience with FPGA design tools such as Vivado or Quartus
* Good understanding of software and hardware integration principles
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience
