Responsibilities:
1. Examine assigned accounting documents to verify accuracy of computations and uniform application of policies, procedures, and acceptable accounting standards.
2. Review and verify accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.
3. Prepare income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements, and other accounting statements and reports.
4. Review, coordinate, and provide documentation to support various internal and external audit requirements.
5. Perform statistical analyses to determine trends, estimates, and significant changes, and write narrative reports explaining findings.
6. May design, modify, install, and/or maintain general accounting systems to provide records of assets, liabilities, and financial statements.
What You Bring:
* Bachelor’s degree (BS) in accounting.
* Minimum 2 years of professional Cost Accounting experience.
* Demonstrated experience within the manufacturing industry.
* High proficiency in Excel.
* Ability to effectively communicate and present information to team members and team leaders.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
