Profile (non teacher): 2.2 Pastoral Support/ Teaching Assistant x2 positions
Fixed Term Contract: Until 31st August 2025
30 hours per week (38 weeks term time only)
Weekly hours: 30 hours, Monday to Friday 8:30 – 15:00 (30 minute lunch break TBA)
SCP Range: 2-4
Salary Range: From £23,656 pro rata
Actual Salary: From £16,075.75
Employment Start Date: ASAP
Westwood is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, empathetic and skilled Pastoral Support worker to
work within the team in KS2 to support pupils on a 1:1 basis. The successful candidate will also be
working in our CWTCH MAWR, which is our smaller breakfast provision between 8:30-9:00 each
morning. This is an important post, working with pupils experiencing Behavioural, Emotional and
Social difficulties. The role will involve liaison with pupils, parents, school staff and outside agencies
where appropriate.
Together we work to support our pupils to reach their full potential and to access a meaningful
education. Training and support will be provided for the successful candidates. This is a great

The posts are for 30 hours per week, term time only.
8:30-15:00 (1/2 hour for lunch)
