Due to our continuous growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stock Controller to join Air X Charter at our premises located in Stansted, UK. The Stock Controller will be reporting directly to the Aircraft Detailing and Stock Support Manager.
Role
The role of the Stock Controller is to ensure that the stock levels meet the business requirements by overseeing replenishment levels and maintaining up-to-date stock records.
Reporting to the Aircraft Detailing and Stock Support Manager, the Stock Controller is responsible for making sure that stock levels are consistent, ordering items and processing the orders, maintaining inventory lists, reviewing paperwork, and providing support to the Flight Crew, mainly Flight Attendants.
What Will You Do
1. Checking stock levels regularly.
2. Completing the required paperwork when ordering stock.
3. Updating stock information on the computer system.
4. Comparing items received against items ordered.
5. Compiling daily reports and addressing inventory discrepancies.
6. Maintaining records of pricing, purchases, and other relevant information.
7. Ordering and restocking as well as collecting/supplying stock for incoming and outgoing aircraft.
8. Driving and delivering stock items to the aircraft, across the UK, including Europe out of London, Stansted.
9. Liaising with the Cabin Services department to prepare for any upcoming flight.
10. Supporting the concierge team by shopping, gift wrapping, and executing special requests for passengers.
