Training Centre Manager Burgess Hill, Competitive salary plus performance related bonus, Permanent, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 08:00am - 5.00pm The Role An excellent opportunity to be part of a hugely successful Training company. As the manager for the Burgess Hill site this key role will drive excellence providing an exceptional experience for all internal and external customers. This 'hands-on' role is accountable for the day-to-day running of the Centre whilst managing the Marketing, Sales and Administration teams. Core Responsibilities: To formulate and drive business generation through a creative and adaptable marketing plan To win new business and ensure delivery of a first class service to ensure business retention and lasting customer relationships Oversee the development and maintain the organisation plan, forecasting 11 months in advance Work with the Sales Team Leader to ensure effective allocation of training rooms, practical workshops, assessment areas etc. Review overall sales turnover and ensure efficiencies are maximised Manage end to end quality of the customer experience Accountability for administration compliance and performance Conduct HR activities such as staff recruitment, inductions, appraisals, development and absence management Work closely with I.T partner as leading point of contact for any related matters Support the team with answering incoming telephone calls and assisting with general office duties as necessary Requirements We would expect the successful Centre Manager to have extensive management experience including performance and development of staff. Ideally you will have a proven track record of funded and/or commercial success, motivating teams to achieve. We are seeking someone who can demonstrate excellent customer service for internal and external customers. You will be self-motivated with strong people management skills the ability to work effectively under pressure and deal with conflict. You will be competent with Microsoft, particularly in Excel and have the ability to produce reports. Experience working in a training environment would be advantageous.
