Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is the operational name of Aneurin Bevan University Local Health Board. The Health Board was established on the 1st October 2009 and covers the areas of Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport, Torfaen and South Powys.

Job Overview
The Radiology Directorate within ABUHB is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join their Administrative and clerical team. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Radiology Booking Service based at Nevill Hall Hospital, Abergavenny. Working as part of a dedicated team of Booking staff, Radiologists, Radiographers, and nurses, they will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and validation of Radiology information systems (RadIS) in line with the replacement RIS project transition for the Health Board. The post holder will ensure service users have a positive and professional experience at all times.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. This post is fixed term/secondment for 12 months due to funding. * To validate waiting lists within the Radiology Referral & Booking Service to support the achievement of organisational objectives and key Welsh Government targets.
* To provide lead support in the transition of Radiology information systems project regarding validation and waiting list data cleansing.
* To administratively validate and cleanse waiting lists of patients with open referral to treatment (RTT) waiting time clocks in order to ensure the RTT position is accurately reported.
* Validate waiting lists and patient data to ensure accuracy and help progress the smooth transition from RadIS to Soliton Radiology.
* Liaise with Directorate Managers (DMs) and Assistant Directorate Managers (ADMs) to agree validation priorities and timescales.
* Validate waiting lists to ensure accuracy and help progress patients through their pathways.
* Communicate with key personnel including clinical, managerial, scheduling, booking, and information.
* Run standard reports to help quality assure validation processes in line with Radiology operating procedures.
* Assist with the collection of data in relation to accuracy, validity, and completeness of key data for the provision of Referral to Treatment reporting and transition to new RIS.
