Your new role
You will be joining this organisation based in the West Midlands as amissioning Manager for their Adult Social Care division. You will be responsible for the delivery of a range of allocatedmissioning projects, including taking the lead on contract management and building relationships with care providers active in the local area to secure capacity to meet demand.
Duties will include:
1. Applyingmissioning knowledge and skills across the life cycle as required, taking a lead responsibility for the contract management of servicesmissioned.
2. Monitor and oversee contractpliance, ensuring service quality, delivery of specified oues and value for money.
3. Build relationships with all providers in the area, irrespective of their contractual relationship with the organisation, to influence the range, nature and suitability of provision to meet changing local demand.
4. Produce and contribute tomissioning reports as required, includingmentary on contractpliance, performance, sufficiency and opportunities in the social care market.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be required to have previous experience ofmissioning and/or contract management in social care or a related sector. You will also be required to demonstrate knowledge of the adult social care sector and experience of working with contracts to securepliance, high standard and best value.
What you'll get in return
This role is a temporary role, initially 3 months with the potential to extend. You will get paid on a weekly basis at a negotiable rate. This role is starting as soon as possible, based in the West Midlands.
