The Role: Position: Full-Time Year 1 Teacher Location: Barking, London Start Date: January 2025 As a Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering exciting, interactive lessons that foster both literacy and numeracy development in young children. You’ll also play a key role in supporting their emotional and social growth, helping them build confidence, form friendships, and develop a love of learning. Key Responsibilities: Inspiring Lessons: Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that lay the foundation for reading, writing, and numeracy skills. You’ll use creative teaching methods to spark curiosity in your students. Emotional Support: Encourage the social and emotional development of your pupils, helping them grow in confidence and form positive relationships with their peers. Tailored Learning: Assess and track individual progress, tailoring your teaching approach to meet the unique needs of each child. Parent Partnership: Maintain open communication with parents and carers, offering regular updates on student progress and providing support for continued learning at home.
