This is an exciting opportunity to be in a leading role delivering high-quality care and providing support to the Dermatology Biologic patients and their families and helping to develop and expand our services.
The role involves supporting the Multidisciplinary Team providing high-quality service for biologic patients and their families throughout their journey with us.
The successful candidate will be developed to obtain skills to enable them to manage and maintain a caseload of biologic patients, undertaking nurse-led clinics and performing diagnostic tests enabling patients to have the best appropriate treatment suited for them.
You will play a key role in the coordination of the patient pathway and will be an advocate for our patients. A background in Biologics or Dermatology care would be essential to the role. The post holder will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, an ability to prioritise workload, be flexible in approach, be able to exercise initiative, and demonstrate a consistently high level of professionalism.

The post holder will have excellent communication skills and have an ability to deal with potentially difficult and highly emotive situations in a sensitive manner.
It is essential to have basic IT skills and previous experience working with CERNER, clinical examination and non-medical prescribing experience will be an advantage.
Although seeking a current band 7 with the essential criteria, we would be accepting of a current band 6 level with most of the essential criteria with a keen willingness of working towards other aspects of the essential criteria. This would be reflective in the pay to start off with.

* Current NMC Registration and evidence of post-registration training.
* ENB 998 or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Recognised qualification in Diagnostic skills.
