This is an exciting opportunity for a senior manager to support the community collaborative specialist services and their deputies in the day-to-day management of the services.
Main duties of the job
The role will provide leadership at team level and will support ward managers. They will have responsibility for:
* the delivery of quality services (safety, effectiveness and patient experience)
* the performance management of the services in line with relevant targets and standards
* ensuring clinical engagement, taking responsibility for clinical governance, safety and risk management within the service
* providing leadership, support and advice to ward managers and staff
* Contribute as appropriate to Collaborative strategy development and implementation
* Supporting and deputising for the Senior Leadership Team

Qualifications
Essential
* Registered professional/clinician ideally with relevant field to the Collaborative.
* NMC/HCPC
* Education to Master's level or equivalent.
* Training in leadership and management skills in an NHS setting.
Desirable
* Trained in service improvement techniques or the willingness to attend training.
Knowledge
Essential
* Clinical leadership experience within the NHS.
* Experience of delivering significant change within a clinical environment.
* Relevant policy, guidance research and legislation in the NHS including safeguarding all ages and Health and Social Care Act.
* Relevant knowledge and skills in safeguarding children/adults
Desirable
* Experience of the area of the Care Group.

* Excellent communication/presentation skills - able to engage and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders and staff including service users/carers.
* Effective written/report writing skills.
