PA Media Group are looking for someone with a strong contracts background to come in and hit the ground running.
In this role you will be managing a wide-ranging portfolio of contracts across various commodities and service areas. You will be ensuring best value is achieved through understanding the requirements, liaising with subject matter experts, and negotiating price and terms with suppliers.
You will be protecting the business from commercial, legal, and reputational risk by ensuring all contracts are supported by a contractual agreement, with a focus on the best interest of the business.
What you’ll be doing.
* Supporting all areas of business with new and existing contracts.
* Making sure renewals of existing contracts are performed in a timely manner.
* Liaising with internal stakeholders and SMEs to identify the most appropriate procurement route to market.
* Reviewing and advising on contractual terms, liaising with the Head of Procurement and legal counsel where required.
* Monitoring contracts during their lifecycle ensuring they are fulfilling the contractual requirements.
* Advising stakeholders and the Finance Business Partners of anticipated cost pressures.
* Ensuring all contractual paperwork is completed and counter-signed.
* Raising POs that reflect the nature of the goods or services procured.
* Accurately recording and communicating the savings achieved or cost increases.
* Supporting with our Supplier Relationship Management portal and supplier assessments.
* Running periodic reports, and providing contract activity data as required.
What you will need.
* Competent with Microsoft Office packages.
* CIPS or equivalent qualified (or currently working towards).
* Comfortable communicating and presenting to Senior Management.
* Experience of SAP ERP contract management and supplier relationship management tools or similar system.
