Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and adaptable Part-Time Maths Teacher to provide high-quality cover across secondary schools in the Clapham area. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy flexibility while making a positive impact in the classroom.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging Maths lessons (KS3/KS4, potentially KS5) in line with the school’s curriculum.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively during short or long-term cover assignments.
* Adapt quickly to different school environments and follow lesson plans provided.
* Provide feedback to permanent staff on pupil progress when required.
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (e.g., PGCE, ECTs welcome).
* Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching Maths up to GCSE (A-Level desirable).
* Previous teaching or cover experience in UK schools preferred.
* Flexibility to work on short notice (1-5 days per week, depending on availability).
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel).
