Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Ecologist to join the team in our Worcester office. Applicants will have the following: A degree in a relevant science or a closely related field. Full CIEEM Membership (or be eligible). Relevant professional ecological experience. Knowledge and experience of undertaking and leading UK Habitat Classification Surveys and protected species surveys. Experience of undertaking BNG Assessments and production of Habitat Management and Monitoring Plans (HMMPs) Ability to write clear and concise reports including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs), Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA), mitigation strategies, enhancement plans and European Protected Species licence applications. A broad skillset, ideally holding at least 2 protected species licences. A thorough understanding of UK and EU legislation, planning policy and best practice. Experience in running your own projects and being client facing; able to provide clear advice at the concept/design stage and supporting clients through planning and implementation.
