Post-Completion Conveyancing Assistant Location: Coventry Job Type: Permanent Working Hours: 9am - 5pm We are seeking a dedicated Post-Completion Conveyancing Assistant to join our client's team in Coventry. This role is ideal for candidates who are looking to specialise and progress within a Post Completion Department, rather than transitioning to a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or Fee Earner position. Day-to-day of the role: Provide full support to our Conveyancing Solicitors to enhance their operational efficiency. Prepare correspondence and manage communications using our case management system. Attend to clients both over the telephone and in person, ensuring a professional service. Administer filing systems, including daily filing and the management of client files from opening to retrieval. Prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch. Arrange the scanning and photocopying of important documents. Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as required. Finalise all post-completion processes, such as paying stamp duty to HMRC, serving notices to landlords, and registering new owners with the Land Registry. Required Skills & Qualifications: Excellent knowledge and experience in residential conveyancing. Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently. High levels of speed and accuracy in task execution. Good telephone manner and comfortable interacting with clients both on the phone and in person.
