Summerset Avonhead is looking for an experienced Gardener to join the property team at our village on a casual contract basis!
About the Role:
This is a busy and diverse role, assisting the Property Manager with day-to-day garden maintenance activities, such as trimming, planting, and weeding. Therefore, you will need to be organised and efficient, while a good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best in service.
Your Responsibilities:
* Ensuring well maintained, beautiful gardens and landscapes
* Ensuring the buildings, grounds and amenities are kept clean and tidy for residents, families and staff to enjoy
* Working with the Property Manager & Village Manager to plan, manage and report on work plans and budgets
* Maintaining a professional, friendly and welcoming appearance and manner for all residents & families
This is a casual contract working on an 'if and when required' basis.
About You:
Ideally, you will have gardening or landscaping experience. But more important to us will be your genuine passion for creating great environments and love for all kinds of people from all walks of life. Flexibility is key, as work hours will vary based on seasonal demands and team availability.
To be successful you will bring:

* Excellent time-management to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner
* A good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best in service
* Great organizational skills and efficiency
* Experience in creating and maintaining great gardens, domestically or commercially
* A passion for keeping our gardens beautiful and enjoyable for our residents is essential!
