We are a large busy training practice over 4 sites. This role will be based mainly at Chaddesden.

Job responsibilities
Title: Clinical Administrator
Reports to: Digital Systems and Administration Manager
Accountable to: GP Partnership
Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring accurate data collection for clinical reporting and performance achievements for the management of patients' chronic diseases, immunisation programmes, practice targets, and drug monitoring.
They will work as part of a small team who focus on ensuring that we meet our contractual obligations including QOF and enhanced services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide set up and maintain accurate patient recall systems.
2. Understand Ardens reporting to identify target patients.
3. Plan the patient journey when seeking and receiving healthcare related to long-term conditions.
4. Contact target patients proactively, including speaking to them directly on the telephone.
5. Monitor patients who are prescribed certain medication according to current guidance.
6. Arrange necessary tests and ensure results are available prior to patients attending appointments.
7. Arrange clinic appointments.
8. Understand practice income stream indicators to maximise practice income while maintaining quality patient care.
9. Respond to inquiries from internal or external sources.
10. Assist with projects to improve the quality of services provided within the practice.
11. Attend meetings and training (which could be on your day off).
12. Maintain confidential records and files.
13. Perform any other duties in line with this post.
