We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed, reliable and caring person to join our happy band of Learning Support Assistants. This is a fixed term contract of 30.83 hours a week, term time only (linked to SEND pupils) for the duration of the funding. The working hours are 08:45 - 15:20 (including Midday Assistant role and INSET days with 25 minutes for breaks throughout the day).
Playing such a significant part in a young person's development will be an extremely rewarding role for the right candidate. Experience of supporting children with individual needs would be preferred but all applications are welcome as training and a comprehensive induction will be provided.
The role will include assisting in the support of differentiated teaching and learning; implementing an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP); contributing to annual reviews and liaising with various outside agencies as well as building a positive relationship with parents/carers.

We are a successful and inclusive 3 form entry mainstream primary school in the heart of Loughton. We are lucky to be located opposite Epping Forest and we regularly use it to enrich our curriculum and enable children to respect it and connect with it. Staples Road Primary School continues to be a Good School (Ofsted November 2022).
