The Opportunity:
Are you ready to inspire and guide students in a vibrant school setting? LTF Recruitment is seeking proactive Student Support Mentors for a large and dynamic secondary school in Tower Hamlets. Starting in January, this role focuses on mentoring students across Year 7 to Sixth Form, helping them develop positive behaviours, build resilience, and fully engage with their education. The school is known for its forward-thinking approach and its emphasis on teamwork among staff to meet the diverse needs of its students.
Your Role in the School:
Be a consistent and approachable mentor for students needing additional behavioural and emotional support
Run small group sessions to build skills such as conflict resolution, emotional regulation, and self-esteem
Offer targeted 1:1 guidance to help students overcome challenges that may be affecting their learning
Work closely with families and staff to create bespoke action plans for individual students
Promote a respectful and inclusive environment that celebrates achievements and positive behaviours
Assist in planning school initiatives, assemblies, and extracurricular activities that encourage personal growth

Details You Need to Know:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday
Paid up to £125 per day, term time only
Based in Tower Hamlets, London
Starting January, for long-term placement
