Swansea Bay University Health Board is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and driven individual to the post of Digital Product Support Officer. The role entails supporting Digital Product Specialists in one or more ICT solutions including smaller digital systems and subsets of larger systems. We are looking for someone who has good communication skills and who can provide support for complex systems and technologies to other department members. You will be required to provide support for system upgrade activities such as testing, training for clinical and administrative staff and be able to demonstrate a wiliness to learn new technologies and functionality as it becomes available. This role will be suited to a talented individual, with excellent attention to details skills, high initiative that is dedicated to working as part of an effective Digital Applications team.,
* To support the Product Specialists in one or more ICT solutions (i.e. clinical IT systems) throughout the products' life cycle.
* To directly support smaller digital systems and subsets of larger systems.
* Follow broad occupational policies to ensure product specialists are supported in delivering against objectives within given timescales.
* Communicate complex systems and technologies to other department members.
* Develop specialist and complex technical solutions to meet the Information and operational requirements of the service.
* Support the data quality and quality assurance of the product, ensuring that data quality and quality assurance of the product, ensuring that data.
* Maintain a good technical understanding of supported products as well as a range of other associated systems that may have an effect on the product.
* Assist in resolving day to day system issues arising from service desk incidents.
* Resolving more complex issues directly related to clinical systems.
* To have an in-depth knowledge of patient demographic data in order to maintain patient information, which at times may be sensitive, and advise on how this information should be recorded in line with policy documents.
