Portfolio Assistant
Location: Girton, Cambridge
Job Purpose:
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Portfolio Assistant to support their Investment Management team in delivering exceptional service to their clients. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a dynamic investment environment and contribute to the success of their client portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support across the trade implementation process and daily investment activities, including trade support, rebalancing, corporate actions, and client reporting.
Assist with portfolio monitoring, performance tracking, model changes, and internal management information.
Build and maintain strong relationships between Advisors and the Investment team, offering ad hoc support when required.
Stay informed about UK and global financial markets, economic trends, and current events.
Develop a solid understanding of financial products and investment strategies tailored to individual and corporate clients.
Attend Investment Committee meetings, take meeting notes, and contribute to strategic discussions.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies.Qualifications & Skills:
Strong academic background.
CII Level 4 or equivalent
1+ years of relevant experience (desirable but not essential).
Proficiency in Excel and strong communication skills.
