About the role
The International Recruitment Team in the Future Students Office at the University of Leicester is recruiting an International Officer to enhance the University’s global profile, build strong stakeholder relationships, and attract talented students who will thrive at Leicester. Our team engages with stakeholders in the UK and across the world, bringing expertise in strategic marketing, student recruitment, admissions, market research, and communications. This full-time, permanent role is available immediately and offers the flexibility of hybrid working—combining time on campus with remote work.
Working closely with colleagues across the University’s Divisions and Academic Schools, you will help to develop recruitment channels in designated regions and support the delivery of Leicester’s ambitious international recruitment targets. Initially, this post will focus on UK International and North America, but the assigned regions may change in line with evolving University priorities and business needs.
About you
The successful candidate will have a UK bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and relevant experience in a customer-facing role. You will have the ability to work independently, alongside a proactive approach to developing and contributing to team strategies. Knowledge of UK higher education and admissions processes is essential. The role also demands excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, coupled with strong research and data analysis capabilities. This position requires overseas travel and may involve extended working hours.
