Owen Daniels are working with a respected Precision Engineering company, renowned for delivering high-quality components and assemblies to some of the world’s top brands. With a focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement, they expanding their team and seeking a skilled Press Toolmaker to support our manufacturing operations.

As a Press Toolmaker, you will be responsible for manufacturing, maintaining, and repairing tooling and fixtures used in the production of precision components. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a high-standards, engineering-focused environment.

Job Description

Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications
Service high speed multistage progression tools
Replace pilots, probe pins, springs, designing and making special fixtures to fit to tools.
Ensure tooling is maintained to quality standards
Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams
Proactively identify improvements to tooling processes

Qualifications/ Experience

Experience with Precision Machinery
Experience with Bench Fitting
Ability to read Engineering Drawings
