Residential Children's Support Worker
We are proud to be working with a well-respected and fast-growing social care provider in Sussex for a brand new 2-bed home for young people aged 11–16 years old in North Chailey.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment, supporting young people to become independent and building invaluable relationships and trust. The young people you will be supporting may have suffered trauma, loss, child sexual exploitation, and may present emotional and behavioral difficulties.
The role is on a full-time basis and offers a competitive salary, as well as excellent training, support from an experienced and passionate management team, and genuine opportunities for progression as the company grows.
Previous experience of working within a residential childcare setting is preferred, but consideration will be given to those with 6 months of experience in similar social care areas who can demonstrate a genuine desire for this role.

Requirements
* Good written and spoken English
* Right to work in the UK full time (sponsorship is not available)
* Experience in Residential Care or similar environment
* NVQ Level 3 in Children's and Young People's Workforce (preferable)
* Flexibility to work on a rolling rota to include sleep-ins and weekends
* Full clean UK driving license
* Own transport to commute due to the rural location of the service
Pay: GBP 34,450.00–GBP 36,250 per year dependent on experience and qualifications.
Hours
Hours of work are sleep-ins with an average of 42 hours per week plus sleep-ins, working a five-week rolling rota pattern of 2 days on, 3 days off, which will include some weekends.
