THE TEAM

ASOS Studios is a team of creative professionals working together to ensure the entire production process is run seamlessly. It's incredibly diverse, built up of several departments ranging from Studios, Shoot Operations, Model Casting & Booking, Retouching, Copy, and Digital Content. It's a very busy, very exciting area to be a part of, requiring constant communication between the team and all the other areas of the business.
You will be...
1. Reporting directly into the Team leader, responsible for contributing to the day-to-day running of the Video Team, primarily including product page enrichment of 1000+ products per day.
2. Ensuring budget, cost per product, creative quality, and volumetric KPIs are adhered to.
3. Having a proven understanding of E-commerce Video capturing and editing processes.
4. Demonstrating strong multitasking ability with outstanding organizational skills; able to use initiative and work in a pressurized environment, consistently prioritizing your workload.
5. Having proven experience with Premier Pro and Mac, able to support teams with technical difficulties covering editing, file management, color grading, exporting, final quality control, and uploading to file and camera function when required.
6. Ensuring videos are edited to the highest standard possible so customers gain as much information from the clip as they can.
7. Ensuring quality of each edit filmed, with maximum attention to detail to guarantee the product is shown in the most optimum way with nothing disrupting the quality of the clip.
8. Working closely with Team Leader and Photography team to help support the video creative development.
9. Supporting the development of all areas of WW video with Team Leader from quality to efficiency, ensuring ASOS.com remains the leader in online imagery/video.
10. Demonstrating the ability to work quickly and efficiently with a strong eye for detail and catching errors.
11. Showcasing consistent strong communication, understanding the structure of the department and the best way to collaborate, adapting and tailoring your approach to different team levels.
12. Exhibiting excellent problem-solving abilities and a positive, dynamic response to change.
13. Assisting Seniors and Team Leader to identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency.
14. Assisting in upskilling the junior team with your Senior and Team Leader.
15. Participating in team growth and development, striving to support the delivery of the department strategy.
16. Contributing to team and departmental meetings.
17. Being recognized as an aspirational figure within your team.
18. Supporting the junior team in following established processes to deliver agreed creative and quality standards in line with departmental strategy.
19. Working with the Seniors and Team Leader to support the training and development of new full-timers.
20. Supporting Seniors and Team Leader when required with deployment of full-time and freelance team resources to optimize the collective team skill set.
21. Being authentic, brave, and creative, following all company and departmental strategies, leading by example and supporting the junior team members.
22. Developing your communication and future leadership style alongside your Seniors and Team Leader, in line with ASOS Behaviours policy.
23. Working closely with your Seniors, Team Leader, and Management team to successfully deliver the department strategy. Building strong, professional, and collaborative relationships with the wider studio team.
24. Demonstrating excellent brand awareness by working on areas for review, researching ideas, and assessing competition when required to ensure we are market leaders.
25. Participating in new workflow solutions to streamline departmental practices and processes.
26. Participating in departmental technology software and hardware launches when required.
27. Participating in projects to support the department strategy and any other ad hoc tasks defined by the Video Team Leader and Manager.
Qualifications
Who We'd Like to Meet...
1. Proven knowledge and experience with Premier Pro and Mac required.
2. Proven knowledge of Video grading across Premiere Pro and Da Vinci Resolve.
3. Proven in-depth knowledge and experience of E-commerce and creative Video capturing and editing processes for website and social delivery platforms (including online video formatting e.g. Bitrate, ratios etc., and compression).
4. In-depth understanding of commercial video editing workflows (file management, color grading, exporting, final quality control, uploading to file and camera function).
5. Strong knowledge of all video capture and edit hardware and software equipment.
6. Knowledge of lighting for Video in studio and location environments (and how to collaborate with photography).
7. Advanced editing knowledge to include 3D/4D expertise preferable.
8. Understanding of how to confidently incorporate audio files into Premiere Pro preferable.
