We are exclusively retained by our client, an iconic international commercial workplace furniture/interiors solutions business, who are seeking an Executive team member to join them, during an exciting time of global expansion.
We are seeking an established, and proven Account Manager/Sales Manager who will drive the business development, acquisition, and growth of key international accounts for this dynamic company. The business is renowned for having a highly desirable company culture as well as design, sustainability, and quality at the heart of their products. The ideal candidate will have a significant book of end customer contacts and will be pivotal in driving international growth throughout the UK & EU.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Management: Act as the primary representative for key international accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Sales Growth: Identify new business opportunities, expand relationships, and drive framework agreements.
* Strategic Planning: Develop and implement an international key account strategy, focusing on UK & Europe with global expansion in mind.
* Project Co-ordination: Oversee international project execution, ensuring seamless delivery.
* A&D Engagement: Build strong relationships with architects and designers to position solutions for international projects.
* Financial Performance: Drive sales and margin realisation, manage pricing strategies, and oversee negotiations.
* Tender Management: Prepare and manage international tenders, ensuring compliance with customer and company requirements.
* Market Insights: Provide strategic input on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
* Stakeholder Management: Driving and building relationships with the end customer
Experience Required
* Proven success in international sales account management, preferably in workplace furniture or closely related industries.
* Strong relationship-building skills with decision-makers and stakeholders.
* Effective negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
* Experience managing international projects across different countries and cultures.
* Strong financial acumen
* Well-versed in presenting high-quality presentations and proposals with clients
* Flexible to travel internationally when needed
* Fluency in English & an additional language would be advantageous, yet is not essential
