Job summary
We are recruiting for a Housekeeper to join our highly-motivated and dedicated team across the Trust providing an excellent service across Mental Health and Community hospital wards.
This is a part-time role (25 hours per week) based at our Bicester Community Hospital. You'll be carrying out daily cleaning tasks across wards and preparing cook/chill meals. Shift patterns include working early and late shifts, weekends, and bank holidays over a rolling rota, whereby weekend and banks holidays are paid at an enhanced rate.Opportunities for extra hours may also be available so flexibility is required.

Main duties of the job
1. Carry out daily cleaning routines as scheduled
2. Carry out terminal and enhanced cleans as per local procedures
3. Handle andremove waste in line with segregation processes and procedures
4. Unpack and stack all linen and laundry
5. Regeneratecook/chill meals recording the temperatures of food at stages defined as appropriate within the relevant wards
6. Ensure kitchen equipment, regeneration equipment and all surfacesare clean at all times
7. Set up dining room, beverage/food trolleys as and whenrequired
8. Ensure food is supplied to wards at the correct times for service and all waste food is discarded and recordedimmediately after service
9. Ensurethe dining room is cleaned after each meal
