Chatterley Court is the latest new style Sheltered Housing Scheme in Chell Heath due for completion 30.9.24 with 113 apts which has followed the completion of Riato Court in Autumn 2022.
This scheme offers an enhanced housing management service provided on site Mon-Friday.
We are looking for someone to join our team to provide an efficient, effective and responsive tenancy and scheme management service to enable older residents with identified support needs to live independently in this housing setting.
The Estate Officer will support the delivery of the City Councils sheltered housing service by actively supporting housing management staff on site in relation to any building management and environmental issues within the scheme.
This post will be expected to maintain an awareness of both fire and H & S regulations within the scheme, regularly test warden call and other types of equipment on site.
This role will also be expected to complete building inspections inclusive of communal areas and to undertake minor repairs within the scheme that are identified.
This is a generic job description but this role will be working as part of the Sheltered Housing Service based on site within a sheltered housing scheme and must be noted that the role will be working with older vulnerable residents with housing support needs.
