The role
As a Junior Creative Designer focused on pharmaceutical and medical communications, you will work closely with the senior creative team to enhance your design skills while contributing to impactful, client-centric projects. With an emphasis on creativity and continuous learning, you will play a key role in supporting the design of visually compelling materials and campaigns that effectively communicate complex medical information.
You will apply a strong understanding of design principles to produce graphics that are clear, engaging, and visually aligned with project goals and brand standards. This may include developing: event and educational materials; innovative branding; presentation layouts; digital design and print materials such as congress stands.
You’ll be encouraged to refine and expand your skills by collaborating on a variety of ambitious projects that prioritise quality and client satisfaction.
Core duties and responsibilities
* Working collaboratively with writers, account managers and other creatives to deliver client projects
* Listening to the requirements of the brief and working towards solutions that will meet and exceed client expectations
* Contributing to the process of coming up with exciting creative ideas within projects
* Adhering to client brand guidelines, but finding fresh ways to apply them, when appropriate
* Creating artwork using industry-standard software and techniques, primarily Adobe Creative Suite
* Applying foundational elements of design effectively, such as typography, layout and colour
* Applying an understanding of the correct colour space to use across different types of media
* Delivering accurate and timely artwork amends
* Maintaining high quality and consistency of design across all assets
You will bring
* 1-2 years of relevant experience as a graphic designer
* Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
* Print and digital design
* Basic knowledge of MS suites such as PowerPoint
* Additional skills desirable (e.g. After Effects, Premier, HTML5, Figma, digital platforms)
