Our client, Public Sector Partnership Services, is looking for a Strategic Finance Manager to lead the Business Partner Team for two of their Client Councils, South Holland District Council and Boston Borough Council. They are offering a salary circa 57k annual performance related bonus of £3,000 Medicash Health Care Plan. This is an excellent opportunity for a CCAB Qualified Accountant to join our client in providing management and technical accounting services to District and Borough Councils within the Southeast Lincolnshire Councils Partnership. Both roles will lead a small business partner team, and an understanding of local government finance would be beneficial. Either role would suit someone who is looking to build on their team management skills or someone who is an established team manager. Working with other Strategic Finance Managers this is a chance to develop your reporting, decision-making and technical accounting skills and to provide consistent and efficient analysis of financial management data to their client councils. You will manage and support the Business Partner Team in the setting of annual budgets for a diverse range of public sector services, reporting financial performance and support the technical team on completion of the final accounts. Working with your team you will provide support to Budget Managers and prepare reports to update stakeholders on the financial performance of the organisation.
