Job Title: Level 1 Service Desk Support Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom (Onsite 5 days a week) Day Rate: £170 (Inside IR35) Start Date: 02/12/2024 Job Type: Six Month Contract I am working with a sector leading consultancy client on a new project and I am looking for a Level 1 Service Desk Support for a six month project. In this position you will need provide first-line technical support to resolve IT-related issues and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems. Job Responsibilities/Objectives Respond to and log support requests via telephone, email, or ticketing system. Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network issues. Escalate complex problems to higher-level support teams. Maintain accurate records of support activities and resolutions. Communicate clearly with users regarding issue status and resolution timelines. R equired Skills/Experience The ideal candidate will have the following: Basic understanding of IT systems (e.g., Windows OS, MS Office). Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
