A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Electrical Solutions Engineer, you will be at the forefront of Europe's energy transition, designing cutting-edge solutions that drive the shift from conventional fossil fuels to renewable energy sources in industrial applications. You will interpret client requests, prepare foundational designs, and guide various engineering disciplines through detailed development.
Your role will involve engineering innovative energy solutions, with occasional site work both domestically and internationally. You will thrive in a collaborative team environment, frequently interacting with engineers, project managers, and bid managers to oversee projects from the specification phase to commissioning.
What You Bring
To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Power Electronics, or Sustainable Energy. You should possess knowledge of large electrical drive systems, encompassing HV-MV distribution, transformers, converters, harmonic filters, cooling systems, and electric motors.
You should have an enthusiasm for or experience in fields such as electrification, energy generation and storage systems, automation, and digitalization. A flexible and practical mindset, with a results-oriented approach, is essential. You should have 10-15 years of relevant professional experience.
We are particularly excited about candidates with experience in tackling complex or composite problems, potentially complemented by digitalization, experience with installations exceeding 1000V, conducting network and fault current calculations, knowledge or interest in large drive systems over 1 Megawatt, and experience or a broad interest in related subsystems such as industrial automation, process equipment and civil engineering.
