Job Description
We have a great opportunity for the right person to join our team at Southside Housing Association. We are a friendly, forward-thinking organisation where innovation, flexibility, and positive communication are embraced. Our focus is on quality of service and helping others.
If you like to work in a fast-moving environment with a varied workload, have excellent technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills, we would like to hear from you.
We are a charitable community-controlled housing association owning and managing approximately 2,250 houses for social rent, providing a factoring service for approximately 750 owners, and managing just over 250 properties through our subsidiary Southside Lettings for Mid-Market. We also have an extensive development programme to build new homes.
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated person with relevant knowledge and skills to deliver our service contracts while ensuring compliance with all legislative and regulatory health and safety, and tenant safety requirements. This will involve having a strong knowledge of all associated compliance issues, the ability to effectively manage contractors, and excellent administration, communication, and organisation skills.
The ability to work in a changing environment with competing pressures is necessary, and the successful candidate will be a team player with a “can do” attitude and a desire to learn new things while ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service. You will also be required to demonstrate strong leadership qualities and provide support to the service contracts assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to develop their skills in relation to the successful management and delivery of the roles and duties of this post. A competence in using IT packages will be required.
The successful candidate will hold a valid driver’s licence and should have access to a vehicle for work use.
The Association is an equal opportunities employer.
Closing Date for Applications: 12 noon on Friday 7th February 2025
Interviews will be held on: w/c 17th February 2025
