A fantastic opportunity is now available for a Human Resources Administrator to join Shotton Mill Limited. This is an opportunity for an experienced and capable administrator with an interest or experience within Human Resources. This role will enable you to use your administrative and communication skills to support the current HR team whilst developing and enhancing your HR knowledge and skills. Within this role you will be part of a team supporting the business as it repurposes the Shotton Mill site into the UK’s largest, state of the art paper campus.
The position is located on site at Shotton Mill, in Deeside, North Wales.
You will be Involved in:
Recruitment and Onboarding
* Assist in the advertisement and coordination of new roles.
* Scheduling of interviews whilst liaising with line managers and candidates.
* Supporting with the onboarding of new employees, including the preparation of paperwork and organisation of schedules.
Record Management
* Maintenance of the employee records, both in paper and digital format, to ensure compliance with legislation.
* Ensuring the accuracy of HR databases and systems.
HR Compliance and Reporting
* Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and relevant company policies.
* Assist in the preparation of reports including attendance and training matrixes.
Supporting Training and Development
* Assisting in the coordination of training sessions whilst liaising with employees and managers.
* Organisation of training materials and the collation of mandatory certifications.
Operational Support
* Assist in the preparation of data and reports whilst ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation.
* Participate in HR projects to assist with the development of the department and business.
Additional administrative duties as required.
Professional Requirement:
* 2 years+ experience of working within an administrative position.
* Previous experience within a HR environment would be advantageous.
* Attention to detail and a strong ability to check data to ensure data is original and compliance.
* Ability to work in a fast -paced environment with employees within all levels of the business and challenge in a proactive professional way.
* IT literate with previous experience of using IT packages – Excel, Microsoft experience is essential.
* Highley motivated with a proactive approach who is willing to learn and grow within a developing & growing business.
* Flexible, self-starter with a can-do attitude who works well within a team but is also a self-starter.
* Organised, agile and ability to challenge the status quo within all aspects of administration.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with the wider business.
Working Conditions:
You will work onsite with the Admin/HR team. Due to current construction work, you will predominantly be working in a portacabin. You may be required to travel within UK and Overseas as required.
