The Role
The APS5 Guidance Officer is accountable under limited supervision to undertake moderately complex to complex work. Legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies, and precedents guide the position.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
* Researching, drafting, developing, and updating guidance material ensuring compliance with standards for plain English and accessibility.
* Interpreting the policy and legislative environment the branch operates in.
* Developing or updating guidance material based on stakeholder feedback.
* Understanding key stages of the participant pathway, specific participant cohorts, and technical processes within SAP CRM and PACE systems.
* Providing service delivery knowledge and advice on procedural guidance, practice implementation, and operational matters.
* Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation within the branch.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Excellent communication skills with stakeholders; ability to represent the work area in guidance development.
* Ability to interpret policies and draft clear guidance, simplifying complex information.
* Managing multiple priorities while maintaining high standards and accuracy.
* Meeting deadlines and performing additional duties as required.
* Ability to operate under limited direction following policies.
* Desirable: Experience with Confluence and JIRA.
