We are looking for two teaching assistants to join our team, providing support to groups and individual pupils in the classroom.
We are looking for a teaching assistant who:
* Has some knowledge of the development of children
* Is adaptable and willing to learn/develop
* Embraces innovation positively and with enthusiasm
* Works well in a team but can also use their initiative
* Strong levels of spoken and written English and Mathematics
* Can follow and adapt lesson plans
* Is able to prepare resources and teaching materials
* Can liaise with the class teacher and other staff
* Has a good understanding of SEND and how to support pupils
* Is patient, friendly and approachable
* Has consistently high expectations of pupil behaviour and achievement
* Wants to make a difference to the lives of our children
* Is creative, caring and can help our children to shine
* Buys into our vision and lives it out!
We can offer a busy and vibrant school, which is constantly moving forward, with great children and a very supportive team working in partnership with our local community.
* Full time, 31 hours and 15 minutes per week - Temporary TA in KS2 (Supporting an individual and small groups). 8:30-3:15 pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
Pay: The full-time equivalent pay is £23,337. This is then pro rata for term time only: 31.25 hours equates to £15,989.81.
The temporary vacancy is until August 2025; however, if funding is available, this role could be extended for another academic year.

Candidates will be judged on both their capability for the post and their suitability for working with children. Good English and Maths skills are essential, and candidates must have GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above.
