Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced cardiology/heart failure nurse to cover a maternity leave for 12 months. We are looking to recruit someone who is driven, enthusiastic and innovative with sufficient experience in the care and management of patients with heart failure. Flexibility across the cardiology specialism will be required to support services and provide cross cover. Main duties of the job Fundamental to the role is working closely with the Heart Failure Consultants and the wider cardiology and medical teams and ward staff. Regular multidisciplinary team meetings, plus working alongside consultant colleagues, will provide the post holder with ongoing access to expertise and clinical support. Clinical duties include heart failure in-patient reviews and undertaking outpatient clinics twice weekly. These duties will be undertaken in close collaboration with cardiology consultants and the advanced nurse practitioner. We invite potential applicants to read the enclosed job description.
