At McCann Manchester, we’re looking for individuals who fit well within our creative agency. We work with some of the UK’s most interesting brands, supported by an in-house IT team that is looking to recruit a Junior IT Support.
The Role
As a Junior IT Support/Administrator within the IPG IT organization, the Associate Technology Delivery Analyst will provide first-line support for telephone, email, and in-person requests for McCann, one of IPG’s agencies, and administrative support to the IT Services Manager.
The post holder will ensure that support issues are dealt with promptly and appropriately, escalating to the wider IPG IT organization as required, as well as third parties.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Answer support calls, collate data, and raise support tickets.
* Assist with SOX (Sarbanes–Oxley) (knowledge of this is not essential).
* Maintain and create user guides.
* Create purchase orders and liaise with suppliers.
* Perform ad-hoc administrative duties.
* Use initiative to troubleshoot basic support issues and help provide solutions.
* Provide proactive support to users.
* Pursue self-development opportunities within the Company.
* Review performance and personal development regularly with the line manager.
* Perform other duties as assigned by management.

* Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to manage own workload.

* Problem-solving skills: the ability to gather pertinent information, eliminate potential causes, and arrive at a root cause.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Some experience of IT troubleshooting and support (useful but not required).
* Some experience of administrative duties (useful but not required).
* Ability to take a methodical and logical approach to situations.
* Awareness of the following systems/applications:
o Windows
o Mac OS
o Office 365
o Mobile Operating Systems
o Microsoft Teams
