Job summary
Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow Higher (ST3-5) in PACU (Post Anaesthesia Care Unit) and Anaesthesia at Addenbrooke's Hospital, part of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Posts are available at this busy major UK teaching hospital from 06 August 2025 and 04 February 2026 for a period of 12 months.
Main duties of the job
The Clinical Fellow position would suit any trainee with a minimum of two years' experience in Anaesthesia providing the opportunity to further their anaesthetic experience in a supervised training environment. The position will involve completing modular training in a number of subspecialty areas of anaesthesia, appropriate for their level of experience. A large proportion of the workload will be in the newly established CUH Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU), however the job will include after hour work covering emergencies and supervised theatre lists.
This post is equivalent to a training post, although please note that these posts do not carry Postgraduate Dean's approval or training recognition.
Full Registration and a licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of commencement is required.
