This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a competitive salary on the MPS/UPS scale SEN Allowance 2. The Role Leading and managing SEND provision across the school to ensure all pupils receive the support they need Coordinating and implementing EHCPs, interventions, and support strategies for children with additional needs Acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection Working closely with teachers, support staff, external agencies, and parents to provide an inclusive learning environment Delivering staff training and professional development on SEND and safeguarding best practices What We Are Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the NASENCO qualification (essential) Proven experience working as a SENCO in a primary setting Strong understanding of SEND legislation, EHCP processes, and inclusive teaching strategies Experience in safeguarding and child protection, with a strong ability to handle sensitive situations Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills Why Join This School?
