We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join our clients Commercial and Domestic Conveyancing Department based in Chelmsford Town Centre. The role involves organising and maintaining legal files and documents, handling incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence, and providing audio, digital, and copy typing support. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a legal secretary, preferably within conveyancing, with knowledge of the Land Registry Portal, SDLT forms, case management systems, and digital dictation. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. The role requires someone who can work independently and as part of a team while maintaining discretion when handling confidential information. This is a full-time position offering a salary between £25,000 and £32,000 per year, depending on experience.
